The Webmaster permission allows you to manage the Content Dashboard for your Organization and edit any page content on the site.


When you log into the Dashboard, you'll see the Content menu option, where you have four subpages to choose from; News, Events, Pages & Partners:

News:

  • News articles are a great way to post updates and new information to your organization's home page.

  • Creating a news article can be done by choosing the +New Article.

  • Once created, you have the option to publish the article so it displays on the home page. You can also link the News Article to the top callout section of your home page.

Events:

  • Creating an Event under the Content Dashboard publishes this event to your organization's home page. This is great for organization-wide events like fundraisers, board meetings, etc.

  • When you create an event here, it will only show on the home page of your site while it is in the future. After the event time ends, that will automatically expire off the home page (but still exist in the Dashboard so you have a record of past events).

  • You can choose which of these events to push to member calendars (ie the Family Calendar) with this check box:

  • You can publish more than one event at a time.

Pages:

  • Creating pages is the best way to add content to your organization's site; when in the Pages section, you can choose +NEW PAGE where you will both title the page and choose which section of the site you'd like that page to be in.

  • Helpful to note that we do have a set of options for site headers that includes our Resource sections (Parent Resources, Player Resources, Coach Resources, Team Manager Resources & Officials Resources), About, Events, Recruiting & Sports.

    • If you need to add Recruiting or Sports, please reach out to us at help@crossbar.org; otherwise, the menu items will appear on the site as pages are published in each section.

Partners:

  • The Partners section of the Content Dashboard is the perfect place to add sponsors/partners that you want to showcase on your organization's website.

  • When adding a Partner, you'll need the name, website (optional) and logo file for that partner.

  • Once added, these show on the home page of your organization's website.

  • We show 4 at a time, but cycle partner images in & out, so there is no limit to the number of partners that can be added.

The Home Page:

  • In addition to building new content & pages, you can also customize your organization's home page.

  • Some elements on the home page (News, Events & Partners) are created from the Content Dashboard; however, you can customize other callouts on the home page.
