With this release we have introduced the concept of a primary payment method. This allows for users to set their preferred payment method as Primary, and for Admins to have visibility into what payment method is the User's primary when selecting a payment type for new installments or added charges.
Setting your Primary Payment Method
When a User navigates to their billing information (Under "Account), they will now see the option to set one of their payment methods as the "Primary" payment method under the "Payment Methods" tab. When a primary payment method is selected, the star next to that payment type will be filled in.
Users can change their primary payment method by selecting the star next to a different payment method that is displayed in the list.
PLEASE NOTE: Updating your Primary Payment Method will NOT change the payment method that is already in place for any future installments. Those will have to be changed separately. For more on updating the payment method linked to your pending installments see HERE
Primary Payment Methods when adding Installments (For Site Admins):
When adding a new installment to an account, you will be prompted to select the payment that the new installment charge should be billed to. You will see a Star in the corner of the payment method indicating which payment method the user has selected as their primary billing method.
If the player has multiple linked accounts, and the different accounts have each selected a primary payment method, Site Admins will see an alert above the payment methods indicating that multiple linked users have a primary payment method. A star will display on each Primary Payment method linked to this participant.
